Sure there are plenty of "experts" but have you really looked at their pedigree?
Pizza franchise owners, media personalities, self help guru's, corporate dropouts, incubator managers, self proclaimed experts (all real examples!) Some are masters of marketing with books, podcasts and great social media presence, but peer beneath the smoke there's not much substance: you'll find a lack of depth, rehashed thoughts, surface analysis and no real life experience creating their own future.
On the other extreme: consultants and academics with formulaic, uninspiring presentations that you could have read the report on. But the consultants sell themselves as being experts, when they delegate insights from interns or rehash data from research firms and the academics are dry with no real life experience or application to understand how the world really works.
